Shoulder Season!

We’re open for our Spring Shoulder Season from Wednesday, April 1st until Thursday, April 30th, 2026!

 

Amenities offered to visitors during the Shoulder Season will include:   

  • Customer service staff on-site,  

  • Access to hiking and biking trails,  

  • Access to Wildwood reservoir for canoeing and kayaking (pending reservoir conditions, rentals not currently available),  

  • Access to day-use areas including a playground, BBQs, picnic areas, and green space,  

  • Access to Wildwood reservoir boat launch (pending reservoir conditions), and  

  • Washroom facilities.  

 

A reduced vehicle day pass fee of $11 (up to four people), or a reduced pedestrian/cyclist day pass fee of $8 for those walking or biking will be charged during this extended season.   

 

Hours of Operation will be as follows:  

  • Wildwood CA  

    • Daily: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm  

    • Gate to day-use will be closed at 4:30 pm daily.

Seasonal Camping

Camping is available on a seasonal basis

All forms of smoking are prohibited in all public spaces within Wildwood Conservation Area. Smoking is only permitted on a registered campsite or in a designated area. Smoke free overnight sites have been designated for those who wish to camp without having anyone smoking on adjacent sites.

Please check the Visitors Guide maps for the designated areas and smoke free campsites. Staff continue to evaluate other smoke free initiatives.

Wildwood Trails

Wildwood's four hiking and biking trails range in length from 1.2 km to the 24 km Lake Trail.
 

Please remember trail etiquette -

take only pictures,

leave only footprints,

use only marked trails!

Boating and more...

Wildwood Reservoir is open from dawn until dusk during the operating season. All boaters use the reservoir at their own risk. Reservoir maps are available at the gatehouse and show the restricted areas.
